Movie
goers and staff at Indooroopilly Megaplex could be forgiven for seeing

There
was time for introductions and socialising in the Gold Class bar before
the movie screening began.

Relaxing in comfort in the Gold Class (fully reclining) armchairs; arranged in pairs with a small table and wine cooler between, the comfort and service of the Gold Class cinema is superb. A range of drinks and food can be ordered and delivered to you during the movie (which especially during a 3 hour movie you really appreciate). |

"shhhh.........the movie's about to begin"

December 2001 - The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring receives 4 Golden Globe Nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director. "Hobbits and hobbit-lovers everywhere can rejoice, along with all moviegoers with a taste for fantasy, far-off kingdoms and great swashbuckling adventure stories. Peter Jackson's movie of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Fellowship of the Ring," first part of a three-film adaptation of Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, is everything you might want it to be -- and more. It's a great adventure movie that's also great fun." By Michael Wilmington The Chicago Tribune -- Monday, December 24, 2001
"Though "The Fellowship of the Ring" is an impressive 2 hours and 58 minutes long, its sense of adventure never flags, with one peril leading naturally to the next. The film's only real drawback, in fact, is that it will be a full year until the next installment, "The Two Towers," Some of us are already counting the days" By Kenneth Turan The Los Angeles Times -- Wednesday, December 19, 2001 See you there next year! |
